Sharjah launches vital new bus routes

Sharjah Transport has launched several new inter-emirates bus routes to improve transport links for residents. The new routes go as far as Abu Dhabi, and include stops in Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and Al Hamriya, as reported by Gulf News.

"The new bus routes were launched in response to public demand, which said transportation to other emirates was greatly needed," said Adil Khalil, director of Sharjah Transport.

Fares for the new routes have been set at AED30 for a one-way ticket to Abu Dhabi, AED25 to Ras Al Khaimah, AED20 to Al Dhaid and Khorfakkan, AED10 to Jebel Ali, AED5 to Dubai and AED3 to Ajman.
